Chippenham sees hair cut frenzy on opening day

The queue on opening day at Hatto Barbers in Chippenham

There is a hair cuts frenzy in Chippenham as barber shops are inundated on opening day.

Long queues are outside the town’s trimmers – and Hatto’s even has a doorman.

Chris Tallis was checking the turn-up crowd in: “It has been really busy! We have done 40 cuts since we opened at 9. It’s only 11.30 and they are queuing down the street. We have three barbers in, so it’s a busy day.”
