Police seeking man in connection with Old Town bank car park robbery

Wiltshire Police have said that they are seeking information on the whereabouts of Johnny Farley, after the incident occurred in Old Town on Tuesday, January 7.

A police spokesperson said: “Have you seen Johnny Farley, from Swindon?

“He is wanted in connection with a robbery which took place in the Lloyd’s bank car park in Old Town on January 7.

“If you know of his whereabouts, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 54250002279.”

Farley’s connection to the incident has not been specified by police at this time.

A previous appeal for witnesses had been released concerning the incident at the Old Town car park, detailing that a woman was threatened by a man in a ski mask.

It took place at 11.45am just off the High Street.

The victim was allegedly approached by a man wearing a ski mask who threatened her in an attempt to get her to hand over her bag.

The suspect then ‘made off’ in the direction of The Lawns before police could arrive.

The woman has described the robber as a six-foot-tall male of slim build, who was wearing a ski mask, white trainers, dark trousers, a black puffer jacket and a black cap at the time of the incident.
