Oxford United v Swindon Town to go ahead despite four confirmed positive Covid-19 cases

SWINDON Town’s A420 derby at Oxford United is set to go ahead – despite four positive coronavirus tests at the County Ground.

A social media post emerged on Friday afternoon from BBC Radio Wiltshire Sport stating the A420 derby had been confirmed as postponed – though when approached for confirmation, the Yellows told Adver Sport the game is currently still on.

Adver Sport now understands Town have four confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 among either the playing or backroom staff, and those people have been told to self-isolate.

Three other possible contacts have also been told to self-isolate as a precaution.
