Run, walk, or jog to catch the virtual carrot!
Following the success of last year’s Santa versus Rudolph Run, Brighter Futures have again joined forces with the Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club to bring you our Christmas Run this year. Sadly, due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, it will not be possible for us to physically host the event at Lydiard Park, but we are excited to bring you Santa versus Rudolph virtually in 2020
You will have from Saturday 28 November until Boxing Day (26 December) to run, walk or jog 3k, 5k of 10k and there will be a spectacular Christmas medal as your reward. There will be prizes for the best fancy dress too!
All profits raised will again be donated to Brighter Futures and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Since the pandemic began, all charities income has been heavily impacted and every single penny raised will help to save lives locally.
Local running club runners: We know how much you have missed races since the pandemic started, so we are offering a bit of local rivalry. Make sure you upload your run via strava after and your club could be in with a chance of winning! We will compile and publish a weekly leaderboard – with one club crowned champions on Boxing Day of each distance!
Please remember when taking part to abide by all current government guidelines and socially distance where required. Please do not take part if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or feel unwell.
